MadeByPi scoop six major awards in two days! [Nov 09]
Following a great year, MadeByPi have been had a very successful haul at the Cream Yorkshire Awards and DADIs, with a total of six awards.
At the Cream of Yorkshire Awards on 12th November, we beat off stiff competition to secure the Award and Commendation for two of our projects: Little Black Book for first direct (Award) and the Nevaland microsite for CBBC (Commendation).
And the good news continued with our results at the DADIs the following night (Friday 13th, lucky for us!) - walking away with four trophies from five nominations! At the event, the accolades came in quick succession with being awarded the following:
- Best Podcast for our 'Offset Mortgage Explained' work for first direct
- Best Financial Services website for the Little Black Book site for first direct
- Creative Individual of the Year for our very own Chris Hemingway to reflect his massive talent and commitment to delivering creative excellence from our design team
And to follow, we were awarded the Grand Prix accolade for outstanding digital work and being best in show for first direct's Little Black Book, which was the icing on the cake!
Normally a more modest bunch, we celebrated our wins with some serious partying at the DADIs event. Ph otos and more details to follow, but for now let's just say that we are truly honoured to be recognized by the industry for our work.
These recent wins follow a Silver Award for our 'Asda -School Matters' website last month and we're hoping to add more to the trophy shelf at the BIMA Awards next week. Fingers Crossed!
