MadeByPi gives Ainsley Harriott’s website a new flavour [May 10]
We're proud to be behind the new Ainsley Harriott website that creates an appetite for the celebrity chef’s range of dried foods, made by Yorkshire-based Symington’s, the leading dried food producer.
The new digital home for Ainsley Harriott – www.ainsley-harriott.co.uk - offers news, updates and information about his range of dried soups, cous cous and risotto, alongside serving suggestions. The site also features stories behind the new products, as well as footage about the development process, showing the journey from the farms where the crops are grown, to the kitchens where the recipes are created, to the factory floor.
A newly created ‘video kitchen’ shows the celebrity chef in action, enabling Ainsley to engage further with his customers and show off his easy-to-follow video recipes through his renowned flair and vibrant personality. Customers can also quickly locate Ainsley’s products on the high street by searching by product or store.
Gemma Hicks, marketing manager at Symingtons commented: “The new site reinforces the strengths of the Ainsley brand and showcases its tasty range of dried food products. Through MadeByPi’s extensive expertise of delivering digital communications, we have been able to create a platform that encourages greater interaction and engagement between consumers and the famous Ainsley brand.”
Karen Lewis, account director for MadeByPi added: “We are thrilled to be working with one of Symington’s leading celebrity brands. As part of the redesign, we have delivered a food-focused website that uses simple navigation to inspire and add depth to the user’s journey around the site. New interactive elements have been introduced to add interest, like customer polls, newsletter sign-ups and contact forms that allow for customer data capture and feedback.”
