MadeByPi donates game to Pudsey Bear & Children In Need [Nov 09]
Pudsey Bear has a new interactive game for this year's BBC Children In Need website.
‘Pudsey Pairs' can be played at www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey/games. The game involves the iconic mascot dressing in various costumes and hiding behind portholes waiting to be found. The aim of the game is for users to find the identical pairs and score points. Speed is of the essence, as the quicker the pairs are found, the more points can be scored.
Wendy Owen, BBC Children in Need marketing and fundraising executive said: "We want to drive people to the website as it forms an integral part of our fundraising efforts. By increasing the interactivity on the site itself through Pudsey's games, we can encourage people to visit and revisit the site to keep up to date with our fundraising news."
Chris Hemingway, our creative partner said: "We are pleased to make this valuable contribution to the BBC's biggest annual fundraising event of the year. The team thoroughly enjoyed donating its creative and technical skills to such an important and well-loved charity."
Let's hope the game is a success, and encourages people to donate to such a good cause!
